Cultural Workshops

As cultural practioners, we are dedicated to educating people of all ages to take care, respect and learn all aspects of our cultural craft.

Taught by our kūpuna (elders) and our kumu (teachers/source), our hope is to maintain the protocols, teachings and history of the past while bringing them into the future.

Our workshops will include:

  • Lei Hulu (Hawaiian Feather Crafting)

  • Lei/Hei (Various lei/hei-making workshops)

  • Pūpū Niʻihau (Niʻihau Shell Jewelry)

  • Ipu ʻOle + Ipu Heke ʻole (Hawaiian gourd instruments)

  • Ulana Lau Hala (Leaf Weaving Workshops)

  • ʻOhe Kapala (bamboo stamping)

We hope to make a contributing impact and awareness in our local communities and beyond.
